Three children, one adult hospitalized following Redwood Village house fire

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Three children, one adult, and a firefighter were hospitalized following a fire in San Diego’s Redwood Village neighborhood Wednesday night.

The fire started on the 6200 block of Romo Street at a two-story home around 5:30 p.m., according to authorities.

Three children suffered smoke inhalation and one adult was injured when they jumped out of a second-floor window.

One firefighter also suffered a minor burn and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
