PALA, Calif. (KGTV) -- The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a man was shot in Pala Saturday afternoon.
Deputies responded to the Pala Tribal Law Station just before 5 p.m. The department says a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the thigh had been dropped off at the station by an unknown person.
The victim was flown to the hospital to undergo treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies say the suspect ran from the crime scene and is still outstanding.
