SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A Spring Valley high school briefly went on secure campus due to the presence of law enforcement Monday afternoon.
Steele Canyon High School went on secure campus around 12:37 due to "law enforcement activity in the surrounding area."
The San Diego County Sheriff's Department says the situation was sparked as deputies searched for a person with a warrant in the area.
