CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) - Family and friends of a missing Chula Vista mother of three held a prayer vigil Thursday for her safe return.
Dozens gathered at Mount San Miguel Park on Thursday evening to show support for Maya Millete's family. Millete has been missing since last week.
Her husband told ABC 10News that they got into an argument last Thursday, and she left to "blow off some steam."
Her sister says it's unlike Millete to just leave or disappear without contacting anyone. She didn't show up to work this week, and she also missed her daughter's birthday over the weekend.
"We hope and pray to lord God to guide us to her and find her," Maya's sister Maricris Drouaillet said.
Drouaillet says they have a received an outpouring of support from the community.
"Strangers just came up and (said), 'We want to help,'" she said. "It's been awesome to see all the love and support straight from neighbors, the community, and all of her friends and co-workers."
A search party will gather at the park Friday morning and fan out to look for Maya.
