VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting death of a man at a Vista home early Tuesday morning.
Sheriff’s officials said deputies were called to a home in the 400 block of Massachusetts Avenue at around 1 a.m. for “an unknown disturbance.”
Responding deputies found a man with a gunshot wound at the residence. He was taken to the hospital, but officials said the victim -- who was not identified -- died shortly after arrival.
There is no word on a possible suspect in the case; no other details on the investigation were released.
