SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A search was launched overnight for a young girl missing in Alpine, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
In a tweet early Wednesday morning, sheriff’s officials said a search and rescue team was called to assist in the search for 10-year-old Abbigail McDonald.
ABC 10News learned the girl's mother reported her missing just before 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said the mother told them Abbigail went to bed around 9 p.m. and that was the last time she saw her daughter.
Abbigail was last seen at home wearing a black tank top and jeans, according to sheriff’s officials.
