SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Gas & Electric is turning off power for several communities around the county Monday in order to make repairs to its electrical system.
The utility says customers were notified of the scheduled outages via mailed letters.
The shutoffs are not related to last week’s preemptive outages that were in response to strong winds and increased fire danger.
SDG&E customers can check the utility’s Outage Map to see if their community is affected by the scheduled outage and for status updates.
