SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Another storm arrived San Diego County Wednesday, putting fire-ravaged communities at risk of flooding. Cal Fire and county officials made free sandbags available to protect homes and property.
Residents should check their homes to make sure drainage areas are clear of debris. Rain can also cause erosion in areas stripped of landscaping.
Anyone who needs sandbags should check the list of locations provided by County Newscenter and call ahead for availability. County officials also say you should bring a shovel to fill your own bags with sand.
