SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A 2-year-old girl was found dead Monday inside her mother's vehicle at a Tierrasanta home, according to San Diego police.
According to police, at around 12:45 p.m., the girl's mother called 911 to say she had just woken up and could not find her daughter in their home in the 10300 block of Leary Street.
The line went dead, said Officer Billy Hernandez. The woman later called back and said she found her daughter in her Nissan Altima, unresponsive and not breathing.
Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures, but the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the child’s death was not immediately released.
There is no word on possible charges in the case.
