Tagger falls to his death in San Diego's East Village

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A man who was attempting to paint graffiti on a downtown building fell to his death Friday morning in East Village.

The incident was reported about 8:30 a.m. on 15th Street near Broadway, across from San Diego Police Headquarters.

Someone found the body at the unoccupied loading dock and called police.

Officers said the unidentified man fell through a metal awning onto the ground in an apparent accident.

Part of 15th Street was closed between Broadway and E Street for the investigation.
