SAN DIEGO: Man hospitalized after stabbing in Southcrest

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Police are investigating a knife attack that sent one man to the hospital early Thursday morning.

San Diego Police Department dispatchers received a call shortly before 1:10 a.m. about a stabbing in the 1100 block of South 43rd Street, about a block east of the Southcrest Recreation Center.

Responding officers located a man suffering from at least one stab wound to his torso, said SDPD officer Billy Hernandez said.

The unidentified man was transported to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

A description of the suspect was not available at this time.
