SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Authorities are searching for a woman suspected of robbing a Miramar bank last December.

The suspected bank robber walked into the Wells Fargo Bank at 9232 Miramar Rd. just before 6 p.m. on Dec. 5, 2019, FBI San Diego says. The robber then approached a bank teller, demanded money, and motioned to her pants that she was carrying a weapon.

The teller gave the woman a sum of cash. The robber placed it into a black bag and then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as an African American female, about 5-foot 6-inches tall, with medium build, with a white bandage covering her right hand, and wearing black framed glasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call San Diego FBI at 858-320-1800 or San Diego Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
