SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego City Council Monday unanimously passed an expansion plan to alleviate congestion at In-N-Out Burger’s Kearny Mesa location.
The plan will add 14 new parking spaces, expand the drive thru and add an entrance on less than two acres that sits beside the restaurant.
In October, the Kearny Mesa Planning Commission passed the proposal.

Currently, the restaurant only has two entrances, leaving many customers without a parking space and traffic spilling onto the nearby road.
