The man and his driver were helped to safety.

Live video from the 10News Breaking Newstracker showed another man sitting on the window frame of his Saturn.

Rescuers were assessing the safest way to reach the man when a good Samaritan in a white pickup truck drove through the water and the man jumped safely into the truck bed. No injuries were reported.

Around noon, a FedEx truck became stuck in flood water on Hollister Street, an area of South Bay known for ranches. Video from Sky10 showed a rancher on a horse approaching the driver, who was still inside.

The driver tells 10News he was stranded for approximately 45 minutes before he was rescued by the rancher. The rancher pulled him onto the horse and brought him to safety. No injuries were reported.
