Rep. Mike Levin, D-San Juan Capistrano, was forced to take shelter inside the Capitol in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday afternoon after a violent mob stormed the building to protest the results of the U.S. election.
Levin told ABC 10News that he was safe but disappointed that the pro-Trump supporters resorted to violence. "I can tell you I never thought I would see anything like this in the United States of America, it’s really a travesty. For those who are responsible they must be held accountable and they have to answer for what they have done today," he told 10News.
