SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A mix of rain and some snowfall will hit San Diego County Saturday, for another weekend of cold and wet weather.
The storm system will bring scattered showers to the county with snow at 5,500 feet, according to the National Weather Service. Less than on inch of rain is expected to falls, with several inches of snow expected at high elevations.
Some snowfall could be seen early Saturday on Mt. Laguna, as video showed a wintery scene at Laguna Mountain Lodge:
A high surf advisory is in effect from 10 a.m. Saturday until 12 p.m. Sunday for San Diego's coastline. Conditions will warm throughout the day Saturday with the possibility of more light, scattered rainfall, though the rain event should dissipate by Sunday evening.

High surf is expected to return Monday as well. More rain and snow could arrive late Monday into Tuesday as another storm system moves over the region.
The heaviest rainfall is expected Tuesday and again on Thursday.
