ENCINITAS, Calif. (KGTV) -- Several patients were moved from an Encinitas nursing center after the structure suffered damage from a mudslide amid heavy rain Friday evening.
According to the city, the damage occurred at the Encinitas Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on the 900 block of Santa Fe Drive in the evening.
No one was injured, but 10 patients had to be evacuated and moved to another location due to the damage.
The city says a retaining wall next to the home was compromised due to heavy rain.
Experts have responded to the scene and are assessing the damage to determine whether or not the building is structurally sound.
