LA MESA (CNS) - One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash on westbound Interstate 8 in La Mesa and lanes of the freeway were blocked this morning until further notice.
The crash occurred near state Route 125 at 9:55 p.m. Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness told officers one vehicle was being driven recklessly just before hitting the center divider wall.
The crash blocked three westbound lanes of the freeway and a SigAlert was issued at 10:30 p.m., the CHP said.
The age, gender, and name of the victim was not disclosed.
