OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) — Oceanside Police responded to the scene of a standoff at the San Luis Rey River Trail where a man stalled himself in a boat after allegedly stealing a motorcycle and leading officers on a pursuit Friday afternoon.
It started around 3:00 p.m. Officers say the man led them on a slow pursuit before reaching the river and using a boat to distance himself from them.
The man finally gave up and was checked by paramedics around 10:30 p.m.
