ENCINITAS, Calif. (KGTV) -- A pedestrian sustained serious injuries following a hit-and-run crash in Encinitas Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 11 a.m. near Vulcan Avenue and D Street, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities say the driver ran from the scene but was later arrested for felony hit and run.
The department says drugs or alcohol may be contributing factors in the crash.
