ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KGTV) - An undercover sting operation led to the arrest of a North County massage therapist.
Escondido police arrested Patrick Stone for sexual battery. Police say he operates Stone Medical Group, an Escondido massage therapy business on the 1200 block of E, Pennsylvania Avenue.
Police began investigating Stone on Dec. 23 when a woman claimed he touched her in a sexual manner during a massage.
A second woman came forward with a similar claim Wednesday. On Thursday, police sent a female undercover detective.
"She went in there and basically started getting a massage," said Lt. Kevin Toth with the Escondido Police Department. "When he started to do similar things, touching her inappropriately, she was able to identify herself as a police detective, and we went in and were able to make an arrest."
Police say there could be other victims and is asking them to come forward.
