CARLSBAD, Calif. (KGTV) — Two people were found dead inside a North County home in what police described as a possible murder-suicide on Saturday.
Police said officers responded to the 500 block of Village Drive just after 6 p.m. to conduct a welfare check. Officers were informed that a person inside the home sent a message to a family member saying that he had killed his ex-girlfriend and was going to commit suicide, police said.
Officers arrived to find a 33-year-old man and a 44-year-old woman dead inside the home. Their identities were not released.
Police said the investigation was ongoing.
No further information was immediately released.
