SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Authorities called off a helicopter search Monday for a suspect in an armed robbery in Vista.

The robbery was reported at 8:14 a.m. in the 300 block of Vista Village Drive in Vista, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said.

There were no injuries reported and the sheriff's department had no information on losses incurred in the incident, Sheriff's Lt. Pat McEvoy said.

Authorities had been searching for a man they said was armed and dangerous. He was described as a 6-feet-tall Latino man with a goatee wearing a black hoodie with a white logo and gray pants. He had a green bandana hanging from his pocket, officials said.
