SAN DIGO (KGTV) -- California public health officials are opening three COVID-19 testing sites in San Diego County.
The new, appointment-only testing centers being operated by the state will be open 7 am.-7 p.m., Monday-Friday at the following locations:
Grossmont College
8800 Grossmont College Dr.
El Cajon, CA 92020
Chula Vista (the former Sears location)
565 Broadway
Chula Vista, CA 91910
North Inland Live Well Center (state takes over county-run site)
649 W Mission Ave.
Escondido, CA 92025
A physician’s referral is not required at the new sites, but patients must make an appointment at https://lhi.care/covidtesting or call 888-634-1123 (M-F, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.).
County public health officials are continuing appointment-only testing for the virus at SDCCU Stadium and the Live Well Center in Chula Vista (690 Oxford St.).
Appointments for the county-run testing centers can be made by calling 211.
