(KGTV) – Summer is approaching, but you wouldn’t know it in San Diego County with the unseasonably cold temperatures and snow in the mountains.
Mount Laguna saw some snowfall late Wednesday night into Thursday morning, covering some of the roadway and vehicles with fresh powder.
10News Meteorologist Megan Parry said Mount Laguna could see 1-2 inches of snow before it melts off through the day on Thursday.

Anyone looking to visit Mount Laguna or any of the other mountain areas in the region is urged to drive with caution.
Megan’s forecast calls for light showers Thursday afternoon into the evening, with a brief dry-out period for the weekend.
