SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Thousands of people descended on the Gaslamp Quarter to celebrate Mardi Gras on Tuesday night.
The holiday no longer closes down 5th Avenue, but that didn't stop party goes from pulling out their best purple, green and gold costumes.
