RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A Ramona man is missing after a fire ripped through his home Saturday evening.
CAL Fire responded to reports of the fire on Black Canyon Road just after 5:20 p.m.
According to Battalion Chief Randy Scales, the husband and wife, who live at the home, had a domestic dispute moments before the fire started.
Chief Scales says the wife and a child left the home after the dispute and then neighbors noticed it was on fire.
Firefighters tried to enter the home when they arrived, but the flames were too dangerous for them to go in. Firefighters searched the perimeter of the home, looking for the man, but were unable to find him.
CAL Fire calls the fire suspicious and the San Diego County Sheriff's Department Bomb/Arson Unit is investigating a cause.
