Man reported missing after motorcycle off-roading trip in Otay Mountain area

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Authorities are searching for a man reported missing over the weekend after he went off-roading on his motorcycle near Otay Mountain.

San Diego County sheriff’s officials said 48-year-old Roberto Camou was last seen Saturday, April 25, after taking a trip to the Otay Mountain area.

According to sheriff’s officials, Camou posted a photo of himself and his motorcycle online at around 12 p.m. that day, but no one has seen or heard from him since then.

Deputies and search-and-rescue volunteers, along with members of the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, California State Parks, California Office of Emergency Services (CAL OES) and U.S. Border Patrol, are looking for Camou in the Otay Mountain area, which consists of remote and rugged terrain.

Camou is Hispanic, 6 feet tall, weighs 200 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.
