LEMON GROVE, Calif. (KGTV) -- An investigation is underway following a deputy-involved shooting in Lemon Grove Monday night.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to the 2100 block of Camino de las Palmas after “receiving reports of a suicidal subject.”
When deputies arrived, there was an altercation and a shooting occurred.
A man was taken to the hospital and no one else was hurt, according to deputies. The man's condition is unknown at this time.
The department says homicide detail investigates deputy-involved shootings and is expected to provide updates.
