Gymboree stores closing: Deadline looms for merchandise returns

(KGTV) - Time is running out for customers looking to return any items at Gymboree stores.

As Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores across the nation begin the process of closing for good, the company says most merchandise returns will have to be handled by Friday, Feb. 1.

Gift cards to Gymboree or Crazy 8 will have to be used by Feb. 16, and any “Gymbucks” or Gymboree rewards no longer have any value and are unusable.

Earlier in January, the children’s clothing retailer announced it was filing for bankruptcy for a second time in as many years and shutting down all Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores across the U.S.

Several stores in San Diego County are already holding “going out of business, everything must go” sales that include deep discounts.
