SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — FBI investigators are searching for a bank robbery suspect who robbed a US Bank in the Scripps Ranch area this month.
The suspect was seen entering the US Bank at 10020 Scripps Ranch Boulevard on Jan. 7 just before 12:30 p.m., according to the FBI San Diego Violent Crimes Task Force. The suspect approached a teller and presented a handwritten note demanding money.
The teller complied with the suspect's demand and gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then fled the area in a white sedan.
Investigators described the suspect as a white male, in his 20s, with a skinny build, and standing about 5'8" to 5'10" tall. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored beanie, dark untucked button-up collared shirt, light blue jeans, and a dark bandana over his face.
