ESCONDIDO, Calif. (KGTV) -- A tree trimmer was rescued in Escondido after spending two hours trapped mid-air in his harness.
The Escondido fire department was called out to assist but fellow arborists trained in tree rescue came to the man’s aid.
Witnesses say the man became wedged in the tree skirt after large leaves fell on him. He was in distress and screaming for help.
After two hours the rescuers were able to safely get him down from the tree. He was taken to the hospital but is expected to make a full recovery.
