LAKESIDE (CNS) - A 50-year-old man is in custody suspected of killing his brother and wounding another man during a shooting at a Lakeside trailer park, a sheriff's lieutenant said Saturday.

The gunfire at Pana-Rama Mobile Home Estates, 13460 Interstate 8 Business, was reported at 4:30 p.m. Friday, said Lt. Michael Blevins of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies arriving at the scene found a 65-year-old man in the parking lot who had suffered a gunshot to his torso. He was transported to an area hospital, where his condition was not immediately known, Blevins said.

``The first shooting victim said there was another victim inside of a nearby residence," he said.

Deputies checked that residence and found another 65-year-old man, who was unresponsive. Paramedics arriving at the scene pronounced the shooting victim dead at 5:05 p.m. Friday, he said.

Witnesses told deputies the brother of the dead man, Felix Joseph Hernandez, 50, was at the home at the time of the shooting, he said.

``A short time later Felix returned to the mobile home park," Blevins said. ``He was taken into custody by deputies at the scene. There are no other outstanding suspects for this incident."

The sheriff's Homicide Unit asked anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at 858-285-6330.
