EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) — San Diego Sheriff's bomb/arson detectives were called to investigate a house fire that broke out Wednesday afternoon.
Firefighters and deputies were called to the 1600 block of Via Elisa just before 3 p.m. Wednesday after the fire broke out at the home.
Strong winds threatened nearby structures, forcing deputies to evacuate the homes, the SDSO said.
Based on the initial investigation, Sheriff's bomb/arson detectives were called to the scene.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, but the investigation was ongoing late Wednesday.
