3.5 magnitude earthquake rattles Julian

JULIAN, Calif. (KGTV) — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 shook East County Friday afternoon.

According to the United States Geological Survey, the quake struck approximately 14 miles east of Julian around 3:45 p.m.

The agency reports that the tremor could be felt throughout East County.

At this time, there are no reports of damage.
