SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A 3.6-magnitude earthquake struck in the Lake Henshaw area of northeast San Diego County Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was centered at the lake, which is located just east of Valley Center and Escondido, and was reported just after 9:20 a.m., the USGS said.
Residents in the city of San Diego, Escondido, Poway and San Marcos reported feeling the shaking.
There is no immediate word on structural damage or injuries associated with the quake.
