LEMON GROVE, Calif. (KGTV) - A man died after being shot by deputies inside a Lemon Grove Del Taco Saturday night, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting happened just after 8:30 p.m. on the 7000 block of Broadway.
Deputies were called to the restaurant after a man reported that a suspect pointed a gun at his family while they were inside the restaurant.
When deputies arrived, the suspect pulled out a handgun before being shot by deputies. The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.
According to the department, all three deputies fired their weapons. None of the deputies were injured.
