SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A cruise ship in need of repair will be in San Diego for an additional day after passengers say it received some sort of damage to its propeller.

Passengers say the ship's propeller was wrapped in some sort of heavy fishing line, forcing the crew to skip several port calls and head to San Diego.

According to Cruise Mapper, the ship set sail from San Diego before heading to several Hawaiian islands, Ensenada and back to San Diego.

As a result of the incident, the cruise ship is set to head to Vancouver instead of Victoria BC.

The Eurodam is operated by Holland America and can hold 2,104 guests.
