(KGTV) -- Costco is again adjusting store hours to accommodate seniors and other vulnerable groups.
The wholesale retailer’s Special Operating Hours are typically 9 a.m.-10 a.m., Monday-Friday. The timeframe applies to customers 60 years of age and older and those with disabilities or who are immunocompromised, store officials said.
However, citing the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, Costco is moving its Special Operating Hours to 8 a.m.-9 a.m. at specific locations.
The following San Diego County locations will move its Special Operating Hours to 8 a.m.-9 a.m.:
- Carmel Mountain
- Mission Valley
- Rancho Del Rey (H St., Chula Vista)
Costco was one of the first retailers to require masks in its stores.
Last month, Costco stopped allowing exemptions for mask-less shoppers citing medical conditions.
