SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - California’s first Welcome Center at a border crossing is opening Tuesday.

The state’s latest Welcome Center will be located at the Cross Border Xpress, which connects travelers at the Otay Mesa border crossing to the Tijuana International Airport.

Travelers using the Cross Border Xpress to enter the U.S. will have a chance to pass through the welcome area, with the center’s theme being “All Dreams are Welcome.”

Around 3 million people a year use the Cross Border Xpress since it opened in December 2015, tourism officials said.

There are 18 Welcome Centers located throughout California.
