CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) – Border Patrol agents took three suspected undocumented immigrants into custody late Monday night following a high-speed chase that ended in Chula Vista.
Just before 11 p.m., agents spotted a truck that they believed was carrying undocumented immigrants traveling northbound on Interstate 805.
However, when agents tried to pull the truck over, the driver continued on and sped away.
The truck exited the freeway and stopped at the intersection of Main Street and Brandywine Avenue, where three occupants got out and ran away.
Agents caught up to the trio a short time later and took them into custody.
No other details on the incident were released.
