POWAY, Calif. (KGTV) -- Audio reveals the moments authorities were alerted to a deadly shooting at a synagogue in Poway Saturday.
The shooting happened at the Chabad of Poway on the 16000 block of Chabad Way around 11:30 a.m.
The shooting claimed one life and left three others injured. The woman who died is described as an adult female. Those injured were only described as a juvenile female and two adult males.

Six to eight gunshots heard behind the synagogue and people heard running from the building.
They're saying it's a white male in the front of the synagogue, the RP screaming.
It's going to be at a synagogue... it' looks like we have multiple RPs on this 11-6 call.
It's a synagogue location between 6 to 20 shots heart.
We have pretty upset citizens here.
There's one victim outside.
We're going to have two victims, gunshot wounds -- we're going to establish full IC.
Gun is in the car, there’s bullet holes in the car.
Couple loaded 30 round mags inside the vehicle.
Female juvenile, about 8 years old -a victim also... it's not life threatening.
Where are these children located? The parents would like to know.

The suspect, identified by several sources as John Earnest, 19, was stopped a short distance later. Read through the CHP audio below:

It sounds like CHP’s got the vehicle stopped at Rancho Bernardo.
He has got the suspect stopped with a gun on west Bernardo.
We have the suspect, we transferred them over to the sheriff’s department.
He’s going to be in a grey Honda Civic.
