NILAND, Calif. (KGTV) -- A 3.9 magnitude earthquake rattled the Salton Sea Wednesday night, according to the United States Geological Survey.
The USGS says the quake happened around 6:40 p.m. roughly 6 miles southwest of Niland, California.
According to the agency, the quake could be felt in parts of the region as far as El Centro.
No damage has been reported.
