SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Two teenagers were detained on suspicion of shooting a bicyclist and stealing his bike in the Rolando area.
The incident happened in the 6400 block of University Avenue at about 10 p.m. Monday.
San Diego police said two male teens approached a man riding his bike and then shot him in the face with a BB gun. The teens then took off with the victim’s bicycle.
The victim did not require medical attention.
With the help of a police helicopter, officers spotted the teens in the 4100 block of Bonillo Drive and detained them.
The teens were taken into custody to see if the victim can properly identify them as his attackers.
