SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Two teens were seriously injured Tuesday night after a two-vehicle crash at a Rancho Bernardo intersection.
According to San Diego police, the crash occurred just after 9:30 p.m. at the intersection of Rancho Bernardo Road and Cresta Drive.

The Ford struck the Kia on the passenger side, and police said a 17-year-old girl sitting in the Kia's front seat suffered a fractured leg that required surgery. A 16-year-old girl sitting in the Kia's backseat sustained a fractured right hip.
Police did not immediately say if the Kia’s 17-year-old male driver and the Ford’s 36-year-old male driver were hurt in the collision.
According to police, DUI is not suspected in the crash, but the incident is under investigation.
