IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) – Two people were taken to the hospital early Friday morning after the SUV they were in struck a Jack in the Box restaurant in Imperial Beach.
The incident happened just after midnight at the fast food eatery on 890 Palm Ave., according to authorities.
While the crash was still under investigation, authorities confirmed that no one was at the restaurant when the SUV struck a corner of the structure near the outdoor dining area.
Two passengers were hospitalized with injuries of unknown severity, and 10News learned the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
