Little girl's finger severed by escalator

SEATTLE—A little girl is in stable condition after her finger was severed after being caught in an escalator Friday night. 

The toddler fell down while on a Seattle Metro University Street Transit Station escalator.

Technician Justino Limon desperately searched for the two-year-old's severed finger and once located paramedics put it on ice until it could be reattached at Harborview Medical Center.
