Posted

FALLBROOK, Calif. (KGTV) -- Recovery efforts continue for those who lost crops in the Lilac Fire.

The University of California Cooperative Extension and the USDA Farm Service Agency hosted an information meeting for growers on Tuesday. The meeting provided a variety of agriculture assistance. Some growers lost millions of dollars and thousands of pounds of fruit.

Officials at the meeting provided information on how to rebuild, how to report a loss and when to replace the crops. They also offered information on how to apply for USDA emergency grants.
