The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County recorded its largest daily increase since July 15 Saturday, rising 4.5 cents to $2.775, one day after increasing 1.4 cents.
The average price has risen three consecutive days after it was unchanged Wednesday and dropped for eight consecutive days before that to its lowest amount since Feb. 11, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price
Information Service.
The average price is 5.5 cents more than one week ago but 2.9 cents less than one month ago and two-tenths of a cent lower than one year ago.
