RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. (CNS) - A 60-year-old Las Vegas woman who disappeared in the Rancho Santa Fe area Wednesday afternoon was found safe, sheriff's officials said.
Ailsa Leech was reported missing just before 3 p.m. Wednesday when she left the home of a family member on foot without telling anyone where she was going, said the San Diego Sheriff's Department. The home's location was not disclosed.
At the time of her disappearance, officials said Leech's physical health was frail and they believed she may be suffering from depression.
Shortly before 9 a.m., sheriff's officials said Leech was spotted Thursday morning near the home. She was treated for non-life threatening injuries and taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation.
No other information on her disappearance was provided.
